This is my eighth year at Nova Middle, and 29th year of teaching. I came to Nova after 21 years
of teaching high school Band. I love being a middle school Band Director, especially here at Nova. Go Titans!
Piano was my first instrument at 6 years old, but my main Band instrument is French Horn. I
play most of the other instruments during Band classes.
I was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 17, grew up in Lakewood, NJ; went to undergraduate and graduate
school at West Chester University of Pennsylvania; and have been living in south Florida since 1987. Currently, I live in
Plantation. In addition to music, I love to do sudoku and crossword puzzles, travel, read, play card games, play board games,
go to the movies, and go out to dinner...I'm also on the computer a lot. My favorite color is blue and my favorite numbers
are 17 and 7. My favorite animals are dolphins, bears, Snoopy, and Winnie The Pooh!
